The Vamps' Bradley Simpson could join The Voice Kids next year to replace Danny Jones.
It comes following claims that McFly's Danny will be moving to the main series, replacing Gavin Rossdale.
"Gavin was great to work with during the series, but the bosses just felt he wasn’t right in the end," a source explained last week. “He didn’t make much of an impact, and they want someone with serious spark and charisma.
“So they have taken the decision that he won’t be back next year.
“Danny is currently one of the favourites to replace him.”
Danny had been on The Voice Kids' first ever series this summer alongside Pixie Lott and Will.i.am, who also coaches on the main show.
Now The Sun reports that The Vamps' Bradley Simpson could takeover Danny's role on The Voice Kids next year.
A source told the tabloid: “The bosses think Danny was the stand-out star of The Voice Kids. They loved him and the fans did too.
“Will.i.am is also encouraging them to move him to the main show. Bradley’s name has been suggested to the producers as a replacement. He’s an incredibly charismatic guy.”
Meanwhile, alongside Gavin and Will.i.am, Sir Tom Jones and Jennifer Hudson were on The Voice UK line up for the last series, while Emma Willis hosted the first run on ITV.
The show will return in January 2018 on ITV for the second series of a three-year deal.
A spokesperson for ITV said of the reports: “It is too early to confirm the line-up for 2018.”
A spokeswoman for Gavin declined to comment on the story.
