Ricky Wilson has confessed he was "furious" after not being invited to join the ITV series of the show.
The Kaiser Chiefs frontman was a coach on the BBC version for three years between 2014 and 2016.
However he didn't follow the show to ITV like fellow coach Will.i.am and host Emma Willis.
Speaking on ITV's Good Morning Britain today, Ricky admitted: "There are many rumours that I'm going back to The Voice.. and I've started most of them."
He remarked he was "furious" at not being invited to join the ITV show, saying: "I love it. I was furious last year when I wasn't on it.
"It's fun, it's TV, I really enjoy it.
"I would love to do something like that again."
Ricky previously hinted to show bosses he was up for joining the spinning red chairs again for its upcoming series in 2018.
“I’m open to it. I await the phone call. I’d love to do it," he told The Sun newspaper. "I know how to do it now.
“I got a lot more involved in it than I ever thought I would, I thought it would be all smoke and mirrors and a bit showbizzy… but you get genuinely attached to them.”
As yet ITV has not confirmed any details about The Voice UK 2018.
Alongside Will.i.am, Jennifer Hudson, Sir Tom Jones and Gavin Rossdale were the coaches for the first series on ITV earlier this year but it remains to be seen if they'll return.
Applications for The Voice 2018 are open now.
