Jennifer Hudson is all set to return to The Voice UK in 2018.

At least if she has it her way.

The newbie coach had quite a good first year, with two acts in the final including the winner.

And she's already put her name forward for next year's series.

"I definitely plan on coming back for sure. I enjoyed every bit of it," Jennifer said "I enjoyed the UK. I enjoyed being on The Voice and, of course, I enjoyed winning.

"I’m looking forward to coming back."

As yet however ITV have not confirmed any coaches for next year's series, with the fate of Jennifer's fellow newbie Gavin Rossdale as well as The Voice UK veterans Will.i.am and Sir Tom Jones still up in the air.

Meanwhile, Jennifer raved about her winner Mo Adeniran who triumphed in last weekend's final.

"He’s very focused and he’s a star. He really is," she told the Metro newspaper. "I definitely feel like the right one won. He had the most unique voice in the entire competition.

"He really wanted it. That’s why I got so emotional when he won. It was beautiful to witness and be a part of it."

Mo's first single Unsteady entered the charts at a lowly 78 on Friday but Jennifer insisted he had "potential".

"I think we have a great start with Mo. I definitely think he has the potential," she said.

Mo is set to release a winner's EP following his first song, which will be out alongside his one-off TV special next weekend.

The Voice UK winner's story airs at 6PM on ITV on Sunday, April 16.
