Gavin Rossdale could be dropped from The Voice UK after his acts failed to make this year's final, it's claimed.
The Bush frontman suffered a disastrous end to his first series on the talent during Saturday's semi-final.
Now the Daily Star suggests that Gavin's place on the show may be in jeopardy over his lack of public support.
"Gavin was always worried he might not get the best singers as he was the least famous coach," a source commented.
"If ITV have any sense they will get someone more well known in next year."
However, an ITV insider hit back, saying: "Bosses are happy with the coaching line-up and are focussed on the final."
Gavin has had The Voice fans scratching their heads ever since he joined the coaching line-up.
He recently spoke to the Radio Times about social media users who keeping asking who he is.
Gavin, the former husband of Gwen Stefani, said: "All I wanted to tweet back was ‘Who are you? Who is anyone?’
"We all are nobody, so I just was in the club. Why was I guilty? I just made records, I wasn’t [pretending to be] in a band that had the kind of prestige of Radiohead."
The Voice UK 2017 concludes on Saturday at 8.30pm and Sunday at 7.00pm on ITV.
