The Voice UK's Sarah Morgan has admitting to feeling 's**t' after her elimination from the show.

The youngest act in the live shows at just 16, the Team Gavin singer stumbled over her words in the live quarter final on Saturday night.

Scottish Sarah was performing Lorde's Royals when she messed up her lines in the live show on ITV.

After singing, coach Gavin encouraged her: "It doesn’t go right all the time for all of us, but stay happy because you recovered perfect, you sounded great on the song.”

While Sarah looked understandably upset after singing, she insisted to host Emma Willis: "It was a really good performance and I enjoyed it, I did my best.”

Gavin had the chance to save Sarah for the semi-finals as part of the fast pass twist but instead backed Truly Ford.

That left Sarah having to face the public vote where she was eliminated alongside three other acts.

She took to Twitter after her exit to admit: "Knew I'd feel s***e but no this s***e"

However fans - including her coach Gavin - were quick to rally around the teenager.

Gavin tweeted: "YOU ARE INCREDIBLE.JUST THE START FOR YOU YOU DID FANTASTIC THX FOR BEING ON MY TEAM"

The youngster later went on to post online: "Aww these things happen! Thankyou to everyone who supported me☺️glad I can go home now such an amazing experience!! ❤️"

In the rest of Saturday's results, in the fast pass twist alongside Gavin's decision, Will.i.am saved Jason Jones, Tom saved Into the Ark and Jennifer gave her fast pass to Mo Adeniran.

The eight acts not saved then faced the public vote where half were sent home.

In no particular order, it was revealed that Craig Ward, Max Vickers, Jamie Miller and Michelle John had been SAVED by the public.

That meant that Sarah, Jack Bruley, Tanya Lacey and Nadine McGhee were sent home, as it happens one act from each of the four teams.

The Voice UK airs live Saturday night from 8:30PM with the semi-final featuring the top eight contestants.
