Jamie Miller has become the new favourite to win The Voice UK 2017.

Jamie Miller's odds have been slashed following the first of the live knock out rounds on Saturday and Sunday night.

The team Jennifer singer is now the 3/1 frontrunner after he was sensationally backed in from 10/1 when his performance of Ed Sheeran’s Shape Of You sent punters into a frenzy.

Previous favourite Mo Adeniran - who had been leading the odds since the first blind audition show - is now the 7/2 second favourite as he is overshadowed by his fellow J-Hud teammate. Jack Bruley makes up the rest of team Jennifer, but is a 33/1 outsider to win.

Team Tom was also whittled down to just three on Saturday and it is duo Into The Ark who are the strongest of the three at 10/1. Nadine McGhee and Craig Ward also progressed with team Tom and can be backed at 20/1 and 33/1 respectively.

Aoife Heffron, Spokeswoman for BoyleSports commented; “The bets came flooding in for Jamie Miller to win off the back of his Shape Of You performance and saw him shoot to the head of the betting as the new favourite as we were forced to slash his odds from 10/1 to 3/1.”

She added “Jamie now poses a substantial liability should he win as punters continue to show strong support for him.”

The second half of the finalists on Teams Will.i.am and Gavin Rossdale will be confirmed this weekend on ITV when the live knock out rounds continue on Saturday and Sunday night.
