Earlier in the evening, the six acts in Jennifer's team took to the stage one at a time to perform.

David Jackson was first up, opening the show with the first live performance on The Voice UK this year with A Little Respect by Erasure.

He was followed by Jack Bruley who has chosen To Love Somebody by the Bee Gees while Jennifer's steal Tim Gallagher sang Want To Want Me by Jason Derulo.

Georgie Braggins performed I Say A Little Prayer by Aretha Franklin before current favourite to win Mo Adeniran belted out Freedom by Beyonce.

Jamie Miller was the last to perform, singing Ed Sheeran's new single Shape Of You.

After the performances followed a short public vote.

In the results, host Emma Willis first announced the two acts with the most public votes which were - in no particular order - Jamie and Mo, going straight into the live finals.

Jennifer then had the power to pick a third finalist from her remaining four, selecting Jack to join Jamie and Mo in the final.

The three guys will go forward to the quarter-final later this month
