Charlie Drew The Voice Uk

Charlie Drew was one of the stand outs from The Voice UK 2017 in tonight's blind auditions.

The 28-year-old from Leicester performed One Dance by Drake in this evening's show.

Sir Tom Jones and Gavin Rossdale both turned for the performance leaving Charlie to pick between them.

And after a 'pitch battle', it was Tom who won Charlie for his team.

Sir Tom also won duo Capital B - made up of Zoe Hedge and Ebony Wilson from Birmingham for his team tonight after they performed His Eye is on the Sparrow by Lauryn Hill.

Other successful acts this evening included 21-year-old Georgie Braggins from Hertford and 19-year-old Jamie Miller from Cardiff who both joined Jennifer Hudson's team.

29-year-old Carter joined Gavin's line up while Will.i.am picked up 43-year-old Michelle John from Bromley for his team after her powerful performance of It’s A Man’s World by James Brown.

After two weeks of blind auditions the four teams are now beginning to fill up with Jennifer having picked four acts, Tom and Gavin three and Will the two.

But there are still plenty more spaces to be filled with each coach looking to build a team of ten talented singers for the next stage, the battle rounds.

The Voice UK 2017 continues next Saturday night on ITV with the second round of blind auditions.
