But will it be any better?
"From what I've seen, the producers, I think it's going to be great," Will declared confidently at the show's launch earlier this year.
He said: "I think it's going to be different and potentially it could be better."
Will explained: "The stage is better, the set is better, I'll tell you that. That freaking set is nuts, I thought that last set was cool, I would take that new set on tour."
Beyond the set, ITV has made a number of other changes to The Voice UK after taking over the show from the BBC.
On the panel , Sir Tom Jones is back alongside Will after he was cut from the final BBC series earlier this year.
The pair are joined by new signings Jennifer Hudson and Gavin Rossdale as Paloma Faith, Boy George and Ricky Wilson all leave.
Meanwhile, in a twist to the blind auditions format, coaches who don't turn will NOT get to see the contestants.
On the BBC series, at the end of an audition, all of the coaches spun around whether or not they had pressed their buttons. They were then able to explain why they did or didn't chose to buzz.
But on the ITV show, those who don't spin will stay with their backs to the stage until the act walks off, having no idea who performed.
Will the changes prove a hit? Time will tell..
The Voice UK 2017 will launch on ITV on Saturday, January 7 at 8PM.
