The show will move to ITV for the first time and yesterday the coaches were confirmed.
Alongside Will and returning coach Sir Tom Jones are US signer Jennifer Hudson and British rocker Gavin Rossdale.
Will has admitted he can't wait to be back on the show with Sir Tom, who had been axed by the BBC last year.
"Tom, that's like my heart," he told Digital Spy. "I love that man. "I missed him that one year, so I'm glad that I get to hang out with him again."
Will added: "Tom's smart. It's going to be cool being back with him."
Meanwhile, on switching channels from BBC to ITV, Will.i.am said: "I will always have a special connection with the BBC and will always work with them if they ever have any good things to do.
"Whatever it is, I will always be open to working with the BBC."
But, saying he chose to stay on The Voice because he liked London too much, there was one thing about the new series Will wasn't sure about.
"It's going to be weird having commercials," he admitted.
The Voice UK airs on ITV next year.
