The Black Eyed Peas star has been on the show since the first series and appeared on this year's panel alongside Boy George, Ricky Wilson and Paloma Faith.
However in 2017 The Voice moves over to ITV and as yet no coaches have been confirmed.
There have been countless rumours with Jess Glyne, Phil Collins, Kylie Minogue and Sir Paul McCartney all being linked to the series.
Speaking at the Summertime Ball at the weekend, Will said he hoped to be be back but hadn't been asked yet.
The rapper told The Sun newspaper: “I don’t know, I hope so, I hope to. I like it a lot, I’ve been doing it for five years.
"I don’t know why they’d want to switch it up.”
Will went on to hint a return to the original line up would be his ideal outcome.
Quizzed on who he wanted to see on the panel, he replied: "Tom. That would be cool right? That would be dope. I love Jessie."
While the coaches aren't yet confirmed, ITV have announced that Emma Willis will be back as host but Marvin Humes has departed the show.
And that came as news even to Will, who said: “We really don’t know. We’ve got one with Emma. We don’t know anything.”
A spokesperson for The Voice UK on ITV said that the show's line up of coaches will be revealed "in due course".
The Voice UK will air on ITV from January.
