The Voice 2016 finalist Jolan Gidney-Craigen is feeling surprisingly calm ahead of this weekend's final.
The Team Ricky Wilson singer is one of four acts through to this Saturday night's live show where he'll be competing for the win.
It's not bad going for the performer who was previously turned away at the blind audition stages back in 2014.
This week Jolan returned to his village in Cumbria for a bit of a homecoming celebration ahead of the upcoming final.
"It’s overwhelming, I wasn’t expecting anything like this," he said at the event.
Jolan added: "Being down in London I haven’t had the chance to see the extent of the support back home.
"My girlfriend Nicole has been coming down to see me, but it’s great to see my family.”
Speaking to the News and Star, Jolan admitted he didn't actually have many nerves for the weekend's performances.
At least not right now.
"I’m actually feeling calm, I think it’s because I’ve got as far as I can now," Jolan told the website. "All I can do is win it and that’s what I’ll try to do. I just need people to vote!”
“I never expected to get this far and now it is the final week. I hope everyone has enjoyed it.”
Jolan will be competing against fellow Team Ricky singer Kevin Simm, Team Will's Lydia Lucy and Team George's Cody Frost for the win.
