The Voice UK 2016 winner is one step closer to being crowned with the top two revealed in tonight's final results.

Jolan and Kevin Simm are now the only contestants left in the running after the first eliminations.

This evening’s last live show saw the final four – Lydia Lucy, Kevin Simm, Jolan and Cody Frost – kick off singing a new solo song.

Jolan opened the show with a Marvin Gaye classic while Lydia followed it up with a cover of Alicia Keys' No One.

Kevin's nailed every note of Rihanna's Stay before Cody round off the first set of songs with Mad World.

Lines then opened before the finalists returned to the stage to sing a duet with their coach .

Ricky and Jolan sang Are You Gonna To Go My Way, Cody and George dueted on Imagine, Ricky was then back on stage, this time singing Mr Brightside with Kevin, and Team and Will performed Boys & Girls.

The vote then froze after to decide the who would go through to the very final stage of the competition.

Hosts Marvin Humes and Emma Willis revealed the first results from tonight's The Voice 2016 final in a tense announcement.

And with the least public votes at the freeze, Lydia Lucy and Cody Frost bowed out.

Kevin and Jolan will now go on to perform their versions of the winner's song as their coach Ricky Wilson enjoys a guaranteed win, the only coach to have won the show twice.
