Things have been heating up between The Voice UK coaches today in the run up to the semi-final.
Saturday night sees the final eight become the final four and the mentors are going all out to get their acts through to the last stage.
It led Ricky Wilson to take a bit of a swipe at the other coaches earlier, claiming they and their teams were getting more attention.
"Morning guys. Has Paloma been on the radio with her acts this morning? Asking for a friend." Ricky tweeted.
He then added: "I'd just like to clarify that I'm not being lazy when I don't parade my finalists around town. I didn't know it was even an option."
Later Ricky commented on a planned Q&A with Paloma and George on the official BBC website: "This is getting silly. It's as if they actually hate Jolan and Kevin. Please vote for the best singer on Saturday."
However it seems the Kaiser Chiefs' frontman quickly calmed down, writing a little time afterwards: "At rehearsals with the gang. Soz if I was a bit catty earlier.
"I love this show and all my team. Competitive is an understatement!"
In a chat with Sport Relief last month the coaches all spoke who was the most competitive between them and Ricky came out on top.
"The most competitive coach would be Ricky," declared Will.i.am.
Paloma agreed: "I think the most competitive coach this season is Ricky Wilson. I think he’s very strategical.
"He manipulates other coaches so it affects his group well. I know for a fact that he doesn’t really think about what’s right for him – he always thinks about what the public would want at all times. That’s because he wants to win.
"He’s obsessed by winning. He’s a bit of a wolf in sheep’s clothing because of that. He pretends he’s not but I know he is."
The Voice UK semi final airs this Saturday night on BBC One.
