We caught up with The Voice UK's Lydia Lucy earlier today for a quick chat about the show.
The Essex performer is one of eight artists left in the competition, gearing up for the semi-finals this weekend where all the acts will face the public vote.
Each of the remaining contestants will be performing solo again AND singing a group number with their coach, which Lydia is VERY excited about...
What was it like performing live for the first time last weekend?
OMG It was amazing! Of course I was nervous, but performing is my life and it was an honour to open the show, I loved it!
How does it feel to have been voted in by the public?
I cannot thank everyone enough for supporting me so far, it means the world to me to know that the public voted for me to go through. I hope my performances this weekend keep them voting for me.
What can you tell us about this weekend’s solo performance?
Well, I can’t say too much obviously but let’s just say, it’s probably going to be the most poignant performance to date!
Are you excited to be performing with Will?
I am SOOO excited to be performing with Will – He’s such an amazing person, it’s like a dream come true to me - I cannot wait!
What’s it been like working with Will this week?
Great! He’s so nice and makes me laugh so much and his advice and mentoring has been incredible so far.
What’s the atmosphere like backstage - are there any real rivalries or competition between the teams/artists?
You know what? I have been asked this so many times – I can honestly say, we all get on so well, it’s like one big family, we have grown so close to each other, we know it’s a competition obviously, but we are supporting each other so much, it’s such a lovely atmosphere.
What’s been the best thing about your experience on The Voice so far?
Everything! I can’t say one thing, the people, the judges, the other contestants, and obviously being able to perform its all been such an incredible journey so far!
If you were to win the show, what could we expect from you music and album wise?
If I won you could definitely expect some fresh urban pop music and obviously single releases and definitely an album
This week it's the public alone that decide the finalists so make sure you vote for your favourites - you can do so for FREE online!
The Voice UK semi-finals air this Saturday night on BBC One.
