The Team Ricky Wilson singer was voted into the final eight by the public on Saturday night's first live show after a brilliant soulful cover of McAlmont & Butler's Yes.
Watching the live show it seemed a breeze for Jolan... and it turns out it really was!
"I loved it. Honestly it was probably the least nervous I have been through the whole show," he said this week. "It was nerve-wracking listening to the results."
In a chat with the News & Star, Jolan continued: "I was ready for going home. I didn't expect to get through at all.
"It's bizarre. It's the most bizarre feeling."
Jolan, who previously didn't to make it past the blind auditions in 2014, said he was HAPPY not being chosen by his mentor Ricky for the 'fast pass' through to the next round.
"I think that knowing now that I have got through with the public vote - and I didn't need a fast pass - is a bit more rewarding, because you know that people like you," he explained. "It's difficult but [the judges] have all got to make a decision and it was the right one I thought."
This Saturday night Jolan will be singing TWICE: Another new solo performance plus a group number with coach Ricky and team mate Kevin Simm.
The weekend's semi-finals will see four artist go home as four others made it through to the grand final on April 2.
But which four will Jolan be a part of?
The Voice is back Saturday evening from 7PM on BBC One.
