Boy George has revealed that Harry Fisher nearly didn't make it through to the live shows of The Voice UK.
Speaking ahead of this Saturday's Quarter Finals, George explained that he was originally planning to send Harry home.
So what changed? Harry NAILING his performance of Adele's Hello at the knockouts on Sunday.
George confessed on the show he was worried it could have been a "karaoke" cover but was instead so impressed, felt there was no other option but to take Harry through on his team.
"Harry nearly went home after the Knockouts but he was amazing," George said this week. "I was fully prepared to let him go, and then he kind of saved himself by being amazing.
"It was almost like, 'I have to take him through', and I'm really pleased that I did now. I'm really excited about what he's going to do in the first live show."
Harry joins Cody Frost and Vangelis on George's team and he's keen to make The Voice UK history by keeping them ALL to the end.
"I'm relying on all my followers and my fans to vote for my singers, because I know that last year Rita [Ora] went into the finals with no-one, which would be awful," he said.
And if they don't quite make it?
"I've been working on my disappointed face," George revealed, quipping: "I'm not good at faking it."
The Voice UK live shows start this Saturday night at 7PM on BBC One.
