Will.i.am wants HORSES for most ridiculous The Voice UK performance yet

The Voice UK is going all out this year for the live shows and Will.i.am even wants there to be ANIMALS involved.

The Voice 2016 finals begin this Saturday night on BBC One and it's the final series for the BBC.

And the plan is to go out with a bang ahead of a switch to ITV in the new year.

Will.i.am teased: "The show looks amazing. Make sure when you're on the stage that's your stage, as if we were all at the O2 watching you.

"We haven't experienced that yet. We've all been given the same default set. Now we can dial it up."

He told DigitalSpy: "The wardrobe, dial it up. How you enter, how you exit, the smoke, the lasers, all the bells and whistles.

"It's the last time it's on the BBC - let's go all the way out. Freaking cars, horses, come on. I swear to you, that would be the illest - a horse."

Yes, that's right, a HORSE.

"Trust me, there's going to be a horse," declared Will confidently. "I'm just going to bring it out. Either that or I'm watching the show on a horse. So there's going to be a horse on set."

Boy George also promised lots to come from tonight's show, his first live episode of The Voice this year.

"We've got production, we've got dancers, we've got explosions, we've got the whole kit and caboodle so we can really push the boat out," he enthused.

However it won't all be fireworks and, er, horses.

George warned: "I think it all depends on the song. You don't want to do something that distracts. If someone's doing a ballad, you don't want to have a marching band marching through the set."

It's certainly got us excited for this evening!

The Voice UK live shows begin tonight at 7PM on BBC One.
