Ricky Wilson says he'd join The Voice UK on ITV if the channel were to offer him £1 million.
The Kaiser Chiefs' frontman previously said he would be quitting the show at the end of the current series when it moves channels.
However it turns out that there is one thing that could keep him on board: Cold, hard cash.
Chatting ahead of The Voice UK's quarter finals this weekend, Ricky said: “These are my last live shows - unless someone coughs up a million quid.
“Then I would be a fool not to go and do another one."
Ricky added to The Sun newspaper: “Would I like to carry on? Every year, when we go live, I feel like I could do this forever.
"But then during the blind auditions, it’s stressful and I’m like, ‘I never want to do this again’.”
So far ITV has yet to confirm any names for its first series of The Voice UK which is expected to start in January 2017
It's been reported however that ITV have offered up more than £2 MILLION to keep Will.i.am although he said he's yet to make a decision.
“I have to decide about next year by May," Will let slip. "What can they do to convince me? Where we film. I’m all about new territories. Let’s take it to places in the UK people wouldn’t think about.”
But it's unlikely we'll see Paloma Faith back withITV supposedly feeling she's "too BBC" for their series.
While ITV's version of The Voice UK may not start until next year, filming is scheduled to begin as early as September and so we can expect the coaches to be confirmed by summer time.
For now, season five of The Voice continues Saturday nights on BBC One with the first of this year's live shows this weekend.
