The Voice UK enjoyed more than 6 million viewers on BBC One last night.
It was the highest rating of the show since the middle of the blind auditions as an average audience of 6.14 million viewers tuned in to the second and final round of knockouts.
Airing on Sunday rather than Saturday because of the rugby, the numbers were well up on last week's first knockout rounds figure of 5.3 million.
By switching days, The Voice was able to avoid a clash with Ant and Dec' Saturday Night Takeaway on ITV which had 6.3 million viewers at the weekend.
But while the numbers are up on recent figures, they remain sharply down year on year: In 2015 7.5 million tuned in to the second knockouts, which had also aired on a Sunday night.
From this weekend, The Voice will be back on Saturday evenings for the live shows.
The Quarter Finals begin at 7PM on Saturday and the performances will conclude from 8:55PM.
After a ten minute break, the results air from 9:05PM to 9:35PM.
