Cody Frost is the favourite to win The Voice UK now that the final 12 have been confirmed.
The Voice UK has its full line up of finalists for the live shows, which start this Saturday, and the competition is fierce according to the betting.
Team Boy George’s Cody made it through the knockouts with ease on Sunday night and remains the favourite to win at 5/2. However it may not be plain sailing in the race for the title as Team Ricky dominates the head of the betting.
The Kaiser Chiefs frontman’s hopefuls all place within the top four of the betting with Liberty X’s Kevin Simm a key threat, despite drifting out to 7/1 from 10/3, and both Chloe Castro and Jolan 11/2 apiece to win.
Team Will’s strongest competitor is Lydia Lucy, who was previously on the X Factor, but lost her place in the six chair challenge. Lydia features behind Jolan and Chloe Castro at 9/1. Making up the rest of Team Will are Lyrickal and Lauren Lapsley-Browne, who are both 33/1 longshots.
Paloma’s team is the weakest ahead of the live shows with Jordan Gray on offer at 10/1, Beth Morris priced at 14/1 and Heather Cameron-Hayes nearing the bottom of the betting at 25/1.
Finishing off Team Boy George are Harry Fisher, who is 16/1 to win, and Vangelis, who is a 20/1 shot to win, leaving the task of winning firmly in the hands of favourite Cody Frost.
Aoife Heffron from BoyleSports said today: “Cody Frost continues her reign at the head of the betting going into the live shows, but she is by no means the clear favourite with the entirety of Team Ricky hot on her heels.”
She added: “Kevin Simm is the frontrunner of Team Ricky at 7/2, but Chloe Castro and Jolan have recently seen a surge of support that could see them overtake Kevin should it continue.”
