Lydia Lucy hopes to collaborate with Will.i.am if she makes it through this weekend's knockout rounds on The Voice UK.
The singer, who previously took part in The X Factor, is one of Team Will's final eight acts and Sunday night will see her perform for a place in the live shows.
“The experience has been amazing and I just don’t want it to end,” Lydia said ahead of the weekend's episode.
She explained: “The knockout is literally the life-changing stage.
“Being able to perform live on national TV is a massive achievement for me. That is my thing and what I am good at.
“I just feel I would be able to achieve my dream if I am able to go through to the live show.”
In a chat with local newspaper the Romford Recorder, Lydia went to say she hoped to collaborate with her coach and others if she made it through to the finals.
"I want to succeed in music and be able to release my own music and to collaborate with different people such as will.i.am would be an absolute dream for me," Lydia enthused.
“The show and the whole team behind the scenes are absolutely amazing and I cannot thank them enough,” she added.
Lydia is fighting for one of three places in the live finals against team-mates Lyrickal, Lauren Lapsley-Browne, Charley Blue, Faheem, Tom Rickels, Theo Llewellyn and Eli Cripps.
The Voice UK continues SUNDAY night at 7:45PM on BBC One.
