The Voice UK 2016: The biggest performances from the first knockouts!

voice top 6

It was the first round of knockout rounds of The Voice UK 2016 last weekend and here were the biggest performances.

Based online hits and shares, did the coaches pick the right acts?

Chloe Castro

Topping the list of the biggest knockotus from the first weekend is Chloe Castro who mesmerised her mentor with a cover of Sia's Alive. Chloe admitted it was a risk but it paid off as she sailed through to the live shows as Ricky's first pick.

Kevin Simm

Kevin once again nailed his performance on The Voice UK at the weekend becoming the second of Team Ricky's choices for the lives after singing Wings at the knockouts.

Proving Ricky's top three choices were spot on, his third live show finalist is also third in this countdown. Jolan's cover of Never Tear Us Apart saw him into the finals having not made it past the auditions back in 2014.

Next in the rankings is Kagan, another member of Team Ricky showing just how strong the line up was. With only three finalists, Kagan missed out on the live shows despite out-performing all those on Team Paloma in online hits.

Heather Cameron-Hayes

The most-watched of Team Paloma's knock-out performances, Heather's take on Holding Out For A Hero was rather haunting. It saw the student, stolen by Paloma from Team George in the battle rounds, get through the live shows.

Jordan Gray

The sixth biggest audition of the weekend is Jordan Gray's performance of Real Gone Kid. It was a live show winning take on the track as Paloma chose Jordan to make the final three, not bad for someone who didn't originally make it through the auditions, eh?

The Voice UK continues this SUNDAY night on BBC One for the second round of knockout performances.
