The finalists on Team Boy George for The Voice UK 2016 have been confirmed!

Tonight was round two of the knockouts a Boy George and both picked their teams for the live shows.

George was up first as his eight acts took to the stage, each of them performing one killer song to prove to their mentor that they should be in the finals.

After everyone had sung, George said: "There were some really magical moments tonight and it's going to be really tough to call.

"For me, singing is a completely emotional experience."

The other coaches then offered their opinions, with saying: "I think that the best singer is Leighton, Cody is an amazing artist, and Chase."

Paloma Faith added: "I think the team is amazing, there are a couple of people that picked the wrong song or interpreted the songs in a way that let them down," naming Cody, Chase and Harry as her final three.

It was then over to George to make his final decisions.

First through was Harry Fisher with George saying of the knockout performance: "He nailed it, well and truly."

Next into the live shows was Vangelis Polydorou with George saying: "It's a singing competition so it's about The Voice."

Vangelis reacted: "I can't believe that, I really can't, I thought I was going home, thank you so much... I don't know what to say."

"There are six fine voices up there, I don't believe this is the end, this is the beginning," George began when making his third and final choice, encouraging them all to continue on singing. "We're looking for someone who can be a real artist, who can develop and grow and be something unique and I think I found it this person... the last person I'm taking through is Cody."

Cody commented: "It's been amazing, learning from someone who is so similar but so superior, it's so cool, he's helped me so much."

So Cody, Harry and Vangelis are in the live shows which begin next Saturday night on BBC One but it means we say goodbye to Laura Begley, Chase Morton, Leighton Jones, Bradley Waterman and Alaric Green.
