The Voice UK: The acts that simply MUST make the live shows

voice finalists

This weekend sees the first of The Voice UK finalists confirmed and here are acts we think HAVE to make the cut.

Cody Frost

Cody's haunting and beautiful performances really have been all about The Voice and they've made us fall in love wither her - we cannot WAIT to see what she brings to the knockouts rounds.

Lydia Lucy

Lydia has an amazing voice too but what's more is that she's an obvious popstar in the making with the potential to actually be a huge success in the charts.

The first of two comebacks on The Voice this year, Jolan is another with not just a great voice but plenty of soul and oodles of stage presence.

Mia Sylvester

After she brought the sass to the stage at the battle rounds, Mia is quickly emerging as a personal favourite of ours. We're excited to see her in the knockouts this week - Do your thing, honey!

Kevin Simm

Kevin's huge soulful voice is impressive even with his surprising shyness and vulnerability. We can only imagine how brilliant Kevin could be with the confidence boost being in the live shows would bring.

Jordan Gray

Overlooked in the blind auditions, Jordan proved herself in the battle rounds with a touching performance that had the coaches in tears. Plus, she's just an awesome person.

Lauren Lapsley-Browne

Lauren brings the fun (but still actually talented) factor - we could watch her all day. If she doesn't make the live shows she definitely needs her own TV show, just no rapping.

Of course it's not up to us as instead each coach must pick just THREE artists from their current teams of eight to take through.

Tune in to The Voice UK knockout rounds this Saturday night from 7:30PM on BBC One.
