The hat wars on The Voice UK are set to be stepped up a notch this weekend when the show goes live.
This series coaches Will.i.am and Boy George have been seeming trying to outdo one another with various headtopping creations.
And even Paloma Faith has got in the act a few times with some interesting head gear.
"Who is this cat in the hat coming in here? Boy George coming on the show in hats!” Will.i.am quipped in the first episode of the blind audition.
New coach George added: "I love my hats. And now I’m on primetime BBC I’m like ‘Hi. What am I going to wear next?’”
Ahead of the live shows, George promised even bigger and better hats.
"Obviously I love dressing up and one of the good things about doing this show is that you get to dress up!" he said.
George revealed: "That’s one of the things me and Paloma have in common, we love dressing up!
"My hats are getting bigger and bigger throughout the show. I just can’t help myself, I’m always looking for things other people don’t have."
And it seems that Will has conceded the hat war, revealing that he decided to let George be the show's "hat guy" from now on.
He said this week: "[Boy George is] the hat guy... when Boy George is here, I won't wear a big hat."
The Voice UK live shows begin Saturday night on BBC One
