However it wasn't the 21-year-old's first time on the show.
The performer from Cumbria previously sung for the coaches back in 2014 when Kylie Minogue was on the panel.
"It was probably the best experience of my life," he told cameras this evening. "When the chairs didn't turn, I was gutted, really gutted... but I think I'm more prepared this time."
Unfortunately since his last audition, Jolan's mum Joanne who had been backstage to support him has tragically passed away.
Saying he was auditioning again partly for her, Jolan added: "Hopefully I can impress them more this time. I have to prove myself this time."
Jordan's belting cover of Wishing Well by Terence Trent D'Arby won a total of three spins as all of Ricky Wilson, Paloma Faith and Boy George battled for the 21-year-old to join their team.
Ricky branded the audition "flawless" while Paloma added: "Amazing voice, brilliant song, I couldn't tell if you were a boy or girl but I don't think it matters!"
"You have great chops as we say in the business," laughed George.
The pitches then got personal as George remarked: "If you go with me we're talking global rather than a few little islands... don't get swayed by these youngsters, I'm a classic!"
After a tense and nervous wait, Jolan eventually delivered his decision: "I think I'm going to have to go with... Ricky!"
