Mia Sylvester and Jolan both make a return to The Voice UK in this weekend's blind auditions.
The pair have each auditioned for the show in previous series but didn't get through after none of the coaches turned.
"This isn't my first time on The Voice, I did actually come last year," says 28-year-old Mia from Luton.
Speaking about her original audition of Addicted To You from 2015, electrician Mia admits: "I was shaky and I was uncomfortable."
But having had some "really nice feedback" from the coaches, Mia has returned to fight for a turn.
"With such positive comments it would be silly to not give it one more try," she says.
Another contestant who is auditioning for The Voice UK for a second time this weekend is Jolan.
The performer from Cumbria previously sung for the coaches back in 2014 when Kylie Minogue was on the panel.
"It was probably the best experience of my life," he tells cameras. "When the chairs didn't turn, I was gutted, really gutted... I think I'm more prepared this time."
Unfortunately since his last audition, Jolan's mum who had been backstage to support him has tragically passed away.
Saying he's auditioning again partly for her, Jolan adds: "Hopefully I can impress them more this time."
You can watch Mia and Jolan's performances when The Voice UK blind auditions air at 7:15PM Saturday evening on BBC One.
