Cody Frost remains the current favourite to win The Voice UK 2016 after the second round of blind auditions.
Last night saw another ten acts sing for the coaches with seven making it through to the battle rounds on one of the four teams.
Lydia Lucy joined Team Will.i.am after her performance of Trouble got three coaches turning and she's now just behind Cody (6/1), as the 8/1 second favourite overall.
Boy George added three more members to his ever expanding team in the latest episode with the strongest newcomer Harry Fisher, who is on offer at 12/1. Also joining Team Boy George were Melissa Cavanagh and cage fighter Chase Morton, who are the larger price of 33/1 apiece.
Janine Dyer, wife of former Stoke City striker Bruce Dyer, blew everyone away with her emotional rendition of Simon and Garfunkel’s ‘Bridge Over Trouble Water’ and goes into the betting at 16/1 after joining Team Ricky.
Violinist Charley Blue gave a unique performance of Chuck Berry’s ‘Roll Over Beethoven’ and is 20/1 to win it for Team Will.
Artist and full time mum, Megan Reece was Paloma Faith’s only steal of the night, however at 25/1 she is the outsider on the team so far.
Aoife Heffron from bookies BoyleSports commented: “Lydia Lucy may have left the X Factor at the six chair challenge stage, but it looks like she is set to go all the way on the Voice UK after going straight in as the 8/1 second favourite and is already seeing some support from punters.”
She added “Cody Frost remains the one to beat and was cut into 6/1 from 7/1 as she becomes the key liability in the market.”
