The Voice winner 2015 Stevie McCrorie is still on course for Number 1.

In today's mid-week chart update it's been confirmed that Stevie still holds the top spot.

The Official Charts Company reports that Stevie currently has a lead of 4,000 sales over his nearest rival Nick Jonas, who is at Number 2 today with Jealous.

Stevie released a cover of Adam Levine's Lost Stars after winning the show at the weekend, with proceeds from the the track going to the BBC's Performing Arts Fund.

The success of Stevie's cover has also helped to boost the original version, which was nominated for an Oscar having been written for feature film Begin Again, currently at Number 64 in today's midweek chart.

Unfortunately for Stevie, it looks like the Scottish singer may have a tough task hanging on to Number 1 until Sunday.

He's already dropped to Number 4 on iTunes which means this weekend will make for a very close chart race.

The Official Singles Number 1 will be confirmed at 7PM on Sunday evening.

Meanwhile, in related reality telly chart news, Britain's Got Talent duo Bars & Melody are on course to score a second Top 40 hit.

Their song Hopeful hit the top five last year and this week new song Stay Strong is currently at Number 40.
