The Voice 2015 results: Stevie McCrorie WAS the right winner say you lot

FINAL 2015 EP14

Stevie McCrorie was the right winner of The Voice UK 2015, you lot have declared.

While a vocal minority on Twitter were 'outraged' by the result, the majority have backed Stevie's victory in our poll over the past 24 hours.

Which given that Stevie topped the public vote, is none too surprising.

The Scottish singer triumphed over Lucy O'Byrne in the final vote last night and is currently at Number 1 with his winner's single, Lost Stars.

It was the first ever in The Voice UK history that a bookies' favourite came through to win, with a string of less predictable winners in past years.

On Twitter today, Stevie was still come to terms with winning and told fans: "So many lovely messages! Today feels like I'm in a bit of a dream, thanks so much again to everyone who bought the single! #thevoiceuk x"

And while she may not have won the top prize of a recording contract, Lucy was still over the moon, saying: "THANK YOU! everyone who voted everyone who listened and watched. You've changed my life! Thank you Xxxx"

It was a close call between the two in our poll but overall 52% felt Stevie was the correct winner of the series.
