Stevie McCrorie was been crowned winner of The Voice 2014 UK on BBC One last night.
Yesterday evening’s last live show saw the final four – Stevie McCrorie, Lucy O'Byrne, Emmanuel Nwamadi and Sasha Simone – kick off singing both a new solo song and a duet with their coach.
Lines opened after each of the four piece had performed for the first time and froze after their second performances to decide the fourth and third placed finisher.
Sasha and Emmanuel were announced as the artists with the fewest votes in the first of tonight's Voice UK final results, leaving Stevie and Lucy to fight it out in the second half of the show.
Stevie and Lucy then went on to return to the stage for a third time and perform their favourite song from the series.
They then each sung their version of this year's winner's song, a cover of Adam Levine's Lost Stars, before lines closed for good.
Hosts Marvin Humes and Emma Willis then revealed the results in a tense announcement.
The artist with the most viewer votes tonight and therefore the winner of The Voice 2015 was Stevie.
The Scottish firefighter was left speechless by the news however he was the red-hot favourite, having been tipped to win since back in January when his blind audition first aired.
Runner up Lucy meanwhile thanked the show for 'changing her life' as she revealed hopes of not having to go back to work as a theatre usher.
