Stevie McCrorie says he felt like a member of One Direction on returning to his home town this week.
Ahead of The Voice final this weekend the four contestants are each heading back home to drum up support.
Yesterday saw Stevie head North and into Scotland on a whistle-stop tour of some favourite places, including his old school and local pub.
Team Ricky singer Stevie is now the odds-on favourite to win the show on Saturday and was overwhelmed by the support from friends, family and locals.
He said: "The reception I got was unbelievable. I felt like I was in One Direction. Some girls were crying.”
The 30-year-old added to The Scottish Sun newspaper: "It’s insane. I am living the dream.”
Meanwhile, Team Will's Lucy O'Byrne has gone back to Ireland.
"I've performed with Will i Am - that's something I'll be able to take with me forever," she told Xposé from her house in Dublin. "I’d never thought I'd get this far. When Emma called my name (on Saturday) I couldn’t believe it – it took a few minutes to sink in."
Lucy and Stevie will go head to head with Emmanuel Nwamadi and Sasha Simone on Saturday evening as one is crowned The Voice 2015 winner and releases their cover of this year's winner's single.
