The Voice UK final: Stevie McCrorie on booze ban

Stevie McCrorie (The Voice UK)

The Voice 2015 favourite Stevie McCrorie has revealed he's put himself on a booze ban ahead of the final.

The Team Ricky singer is the tip to win this year's series in the final on Saturday night and is doing all we can to improve his chances.

Stevie said: “Water’s the only thing for me at the moment. I’d have a few social pints during the pre-recorded shows because it wasn’t as full-on.

“But with the live shows I need to be on my game. But however I go out, I’ll be having a big drink.”

The 29-year-old Scottish firefighter added to The Sun newspaper: “I would love to win The Voice, especially as I’m now in touching distance of it.”

Stevie joins fellow Team Ricky singer Emmanuel Nwamadi in the final with the pair battling it out against Team Tom's Sasha Simone and Team Will's Lucy O'Byrne to win the show.

After the weekend's semi-final, Stevie once again saw his odds to win cut.

Liam Glynn at bookies BoyleSports said “Stevie McCrorie continues to impress the judges and voters and is now Evens from 6/4 to win the show.”
