Another four acts left The Voice UK in last night's semi-final results.

Going into Saturday's show were eight contestants with Joe Woolford, Karis Thomas, Lucy O'Byrne, Sheena McHugh, Vikesh Champaneri, Stevie McCrorie, Emmanuel Nwamadi and Sasha Simone all singing to make the cut into next week's final.

Each act had two live performances, first on their own and then with their mentor and team mates in a group number.

After all eight had performed the public lines opened and it was over to us viewers to decide on the finalists.

Once lines had closed there was a performance from Jess Glynne singing Hold My Name before Marvin Humes and Emma Willis took to the stage to make the first big announcement.

And in no particular order, it was confirmed that both Team Tom's Sasha and Team Ricky's Emmanuel were in the final.

A tearful Sasha was speechless while Emmanuel said: "Thank you, thank you, thank you so much."

It was a tense wait for the remaining six as we were treated to a second guest performance from Sia.

Back to the results and Lucy and Stevie went through, leaving Vikesh, Joe, Karis and Sheena to go home.

Sheena said "It was amazing to get this far and it's given me a brilliant platform to go froward now."

Joe added: "I auditioned for Series 1 and didn't even make it onto the show but now I'm here on the semi-final!"

So next week we'll see Emmanuel Nwamadi, Sasha Simone, Stevie McCrorie and Lucy O'Byrne going head to head to be crowned The Voice UK 2015 winner.
