The Voice 2015 last night hit another series high audience of almost 9 million viewers.

The blind auditions continued with an average of 8.76 million tuning in for the sixth episode.

It as up 40,000 viewers on last weekend's figure, the previous high for the series and up over a million viewers on last year's equivalent episode, we can reveal.

And just like last week's number, it was the highest viewing figures for the show since Series 1 back in 2012.

As for ITV and and for yet another weekend, it's a case of the less said the better.

Harry Hill's Stars In Their Eyes finished its series with 2.2 million while Take Me Out was the channel's most watched show, climbing slightly on last week to 3.4 million.

No doubt ITV bosses will be sighing with relief that Ant and Dec return next weekend with Saturday Night Takeaway, but they will be going head to head with The Voice which is looking mighty strong right now.
