The Voice 2015 hopeful Brooklyn Lammiman has gushed about working with her new coach Will.i.am.
We saw teenager Brooklyn impress the Black Eyed Peas star on Saturday night's episode of The Voice UK with her cover of Nicki Minaj's Superbass.
The 19-year-old said: “It’s been such a good experience. The people are so supportive and push you to be the best you can.
“And then I’ve got Will.i.am telling me that I’m special — I couldn’t quite believe that."
Will and Rita Ora both turned around for Brooklyn who confessed: “Will or Rita were the coaches I wanted, because they’re more my style, but it would have been a privilege to have been coached by any of them.
“Will has been a brilliant coach so far and has given me some great advice about performing. I’ve had lots of time with him."
She told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: “He told me to be myself and to perform like I would if I was in my bedroom at home.
“The nice thing about Will is that he is exactly how he is on TV. You can really tell how passionate he is about music. He loves it.”
On Saturday we also saw how the Essex performer is pals with TOWIE stars Amy Childs and Harry Derbidge who have given her some advice of their own.
Brooklyn revealed: “They told me I was going to be a superstar, that I looked like one already, and that The Voice was going to be really explosive for me.
“They did warn me that it would be a shock to suddenly be famous, but they both said they thought I’d be able to cope with that.” Brooklyn added: “I feel blessed to have friends like Amy and Harry, who are really supportive.”
The Voice UK continues next Saturday night on BBC One.
