The Voice UK has continued to pull in viewers for BBC One.

The new series has consistently performed over the past four weeks and last night was no different.

The latest set of blind auditions were watched by an average audience of 8.49 million viewers between 7PM and 8:30PM.

It was up 400,000 viewers and the exact same rating that last year's equivalent episode received.

The audience peaked with just under 10 million viewers as 9.7 million tuned in at one point.

It left ITV trailing in the BBC's dust as Stars In Their Eyes dipped to a series low of 2.1 million viewers.

Planet's Got Talent fared even worse with 1.95 million with Take Me Out topping the night for the channel with 3.1 million viewers.

The Voice UK continues next Saturday night on BBC One.
