The Voice UK's new coach Rita Ora got buzzer happy at auditions this month, it's been revealed.

The I Will Never Let You Down hitmaker has joined the panel for the new series, sitting in the famous spinning red chairs alongside Will.i.am, Sir Tom Jones and Ricky Wilson.

But spies at the show's auditions, which were recorded in Manchester earlier this month, say that Rita was the first to fill up her team of ten acts.

Will.i.am, who once again waited until the last few acts took to the stage to make his final choices, reportedly advised Rita: "You will learn."

According to the Daily Star newspaper, Rita is however apparently regretting being so eager in pressing her buzzer.

A source told the tabloid this week: "She's the new girl on the block and has a lot of pressure on her as she is following in Kylie's footsteps and also Jessie J. She has said she would love to win.

"But her knee-jerk chair spinning could cost her the competition so now she is kicking herself as she has missed out on some great talent that makes some of her team members sound like pub singers."

The Voice UK returns for its new series on BBC One in the New Year.
