Kylie Minogue could be back on The Voice UK... but not until 2016.
The BBC are hoping that the Aussie popstar is back on the panel for the upcoming fifth series in two years' time.
Kylie, who only joined the panel this year, announced her exit back in April after the final.
She explained: “Hi Lovers, thanks to all of you for your incredible support throughout this past season of The Voice UK.
“I’m sad to say that, due to the timing of my European Tour, I won’t be back for season four. I absolutely loved my time on the show, and I’ll miss all of the incredible people who were a part of my experience.
“I hope to see you all on my Kiss Me Once Tour, and wish continued success to everyone at The Voice!”
The Voice UK producer Moira Ross has now told TV Times that she hopes that Kylie hasn't gone for good and is just on a bit of a break.
“Kylie’s doing her world tour, so she’s not available for series four’s filming dates," she aid. “But hopefully we’ll have her back for series five.
"So it’s a little hiatus.”
The BBC previously renewed the show for at least two more series on the channel, but next year could see quite the different line up as Ricky Wilson revealed he also plans to quit.
“We decided to do it for a very good reason and that’s because we had an album we didn’t want to go unnoticed,” Ricky told NME this week. “If I did it again I’d have to have a good reason and at the moment, there isn’t a good reason. That’s the truth.”
Other names linked to The Voice UK next year include Black Eyed Peas star Fergie and Coldplay’s Chris Martin, while Will.i.am has said he’s hoping to see Madonna on the panel.
The new series will air in January on BBC One.
