The Voice UK host Marvin Humes is preparing to release a solo record.
The former X Factor finalist has revealed he's been working on his first solo album for the past 18 months after JLS called it a day last year.
“I’m literally in the process of signing the deal right now," he said this week.
The hunky singer promised plenty of features on the album, which he hopes will be out before the end of the year.
Marvin explained: “All I can say is it will be with a major label and my project is coming together really, really well.
“I’ll definitely release a single this year and I’m confident I will release an album.”
He added: “I’ve been working on it for 18 months. Every single song will feature a different artist.”
This year saw Marvin step off the stage and into presenting, not only The Voice but also ITV's This Morning with wife and fellow popstar Rochelle Humes.
And he hopes to keep it going by returning to The Voice next year alongside co-host Emma Willis.
"I’ve known her for a few years through her husband Matt, and she’s interviewed my band," he said earlier this year. “It’s nice to be working together. She’s one of the best, so it’s great to be alongside her.”
