The Voice UK finalist Sally Barker has insisted that she's not worried about being the favourite.
The Team Tom singer is the bookies tip to win the series along with Christina Marie in this weekend's final.
Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said after Saturday's semi-final: "We can't split Christina and Sally so we'll let fans decide who will end up a favourite ahead of the final."
But Sally claimed she hasn't thought about winning and suggested that the success of past winners means there is no need to.
Sally said: "I didn’t know I was the favourite until my son Ben told me a week ago. No pressure then! I don’t think about winning, I just think about performing as best I can.
"This is a competition, but what matters is what happens afterwards – having a career. Having Tom as a coach has been great and he is still an incredible singer.”
Speaking to The Sun this week, Sally revealed that despite one of the oldest contestants on the show this year with a career already to envy, she's learned plenty from the young teenagers she's sung alongside.
“I did my first gig when I was 14, in a local village hall, so I’ve been doing this for 40 years," Sally told the tabloid. "The other contestants are much younger than me but I’m surprised how mature so many of them are – I’ve learned a lot."
The Voice UK 2014 final begins this Saturday night on BBC One from 7PM.
