Kylie Minogue is all set to return to The Voice UK next year, despite hinting at her exit.
And it's no surprise to hear that the change of heart from the Aussie singer comes with "a huge cheque on the table".
Just last week Kylie said she wouldn't be back due to a clashing schedule with her new tour.
“I’m touring this year and the timings wouldn’t work,” Kylie explained. “We started filming in November last year for the show and this year I’m on tour in September, October and November.
“Being on the show is a huge commitment.”
And she went on to claim that the show had been "too taxing", saying: “I have loved it although there have been parts which have been really difficult, too taxing and emotional. You can’t second guess yourself.
“You deal with a lot of decisions and emotions.”
But now it seems that Kylie will be back after all.
“Kylie is being rather playful suggesting she won’t be able to return because of her tour. What she appears to be saying to the BBC is, ‘Move the dates.'," a source told The Sun today. “Her team are convinced she’s coming back. Filming The Voice is hardly the most taxing thing for her and there’s a huge cheque on the table.”
Speaking to the tabloid, BBC one HBIC Charlotte More said: "The new line-up has really connected with audiences and I look forward to it returning.”
Not that it was any of his business, X Factor boss Simon Cowell offered his own opinion and remarked: "My gut feeling is that Kylie is coming back. I don’t believe all this ‘commitments’ stuff.”
The Voice UK continues tonight on BBC One with the live semi-finals.
