The Voice 2014 favourite Christina Marie has revealed she has been literally sick with nerves.
The young performer wowed us at the weekend with a take on Foo Fighters hit Everlong to sail through to the quarter finals, but there were tears on stage.
And she admitted this week that before last Saturday's show an urgent trip to the bathroom was also required.
"It was a massive, massive day, it was unlike anything I've done before," she said. "I was a little bit sick which is the first time it's happened to me. I was like 'What's happening to my body?!'"
Mentor Ricky Wilson was fortunately on hand to offer some words of support... or not.
"I was really harsh with her," he recalled, "I was like 'Get on with it'. There is a time for mollycoddling people and there's time for saying get it together.
"If you're nervous it shows you care and you want it to be good, so it's not a bad thing."
In the end Christina was proud of her performance and added: "The production was absolutely amazing, it was like something out of a movie, I did get caught up in the emotion, it was a very big moment."
