The Voice 2014 judges: Ricky Wilson doesn't care about winning

The Voice UK coach Ricky Wilson has insisted he doesn't care about winning the show.

Show newbie Ricky has Christina Marie and Chris Royal both left in his team but say it's about all of the acts rather than the coaches now.

"At first, I really wanted to win but the more it goes on and the more time I spend with my final 2, it's not really about me. I went them to win. It's not about the coaches anymore," he said this week.

Ricky admitted that she's found the live show's tough and claimed that the fast pass twist last weekend "ruined" it for him.

"Saturday was really tough, it ruined the night form me because I wanted to really enjoy it but all I was thinking about what this horrible decision," he explained. "It turned out okay but it was on my mind the week leading up to it. It's a big decision, it's people's lives.

"I didn't think I'd care as much as I do, you sign up for a TV show but at the centre of it are these people's lives. I didn't know I'd become so close to them and care for them. Every week has to go."

The Kaiser Chiefs rocker - who will be performing with Christina and Chris on Saturday night - concluded: "It's been tough but tough in a good way, I've found it rewarding.

"I've learned a lot. I'm learning more than the contestants! I've taken a lot away from this."
