The Voice UK faces axe fears with judges set to quit

The Voice UK is facing fears it may be AXED after the show's judges hinted at their exits.

It all began as the live shows kicked off at the weekend with Kylie Minogue announcing it would be "impossible" for her to return for a second series.

While Kylie blamed her decision on clashing tour dates, she also admitted: “I have loved it although there have been parts which have been really difficult, too taxing and emotional. You can’t second guess yourself.

“You deal with a lot of decisions and emotions.”

Kylie’s exit on its own would be a blow to the show but it could be made worse after both and Sir Tom Jones suggested they’d follow Kylie out the door.

Will refused say whether he wanted to comeback for a fourth run, remarking: “I always wait to the last minute to decide. The first two seasons I had so much fun. I didn’t think there could be a better show.”

The Black Eyed Peas frontman continued: “It would be best if it returned with Kylie. I like this combination. We’ve found the gel.”

And Sir Tom declared: “The BBC should do whatever they can to keep Kylie. It works how it is right now. With the four of us, I think it’s a good combination.

“It’s working now, so why spoil it? Why change it?”

Fans of the show 'took to Twitter' to campaign to keep Kylie with one tweeting: "They are going to cancel #TheVoiceUK if Kylie doesn't reconsider and not quit right!?"

As it stands the show hasn't been recommissioned for a fourth series next year but a spokesperson for the BBC insisted it was too early to speculate on the future of either the show or judging line up.

And they said they were keen to schedule filming to keep Kylie on the panel.

The spokesperson commented: “We are aware of Kylie’s touring commitments and are looking to accommodate them, so that if the series is recommissioned she could return.”
