It comes after Kylie Minogue announced she was unable to return for a second series due to a clashing schedule with her tour.
Even if filming could be moved around her live shows, Kylie wasn't jumping to say she'll be back in a new interview yesterday, branding the series "too taxing".
“I have loved it although there have been parts which have been really difficult, too taxing and emotional,” she told the Daily Mirror newspaper. “You can’t second guess yourself.
“You deal with a lot of decisions and emotions.”
Kylie's exit on its own would be a blow to the BBC but it could have a rather large knock on effect with both Will and Sir Tom suggesting they'd follow Kylie out the door.
Will refused to say one way or another when asked if he'd be back, instead remarking: “I always wait to the last minute to decide. The first two seasons I had so much fun. I didn’t think there could be a better show."
The Black Eyed Peas frontman continued: “It would be best if it returned with Kylie. I like this combination. We’ve found the gel.”
Meanwhile Sir Tom declared: “The BBC should do whatever they can to keep Kylie. It works how it is right now. With the four of us, I think it’s a good combination.
“It’s working now, so why spoil it? Why change it?”
And speaking to the Daily Mirror, Sir Tom suggested that losing Kylie could hurt the show's ratings.
“At the end of the day, it’s the viewers that count," he told the tabloid. "It’s the same as when you make a record – you might like it but it’s the public that counts.
“Kylie and Ricky are just being themselves. This combination works. And we’re all friends. We all get on great together. I wouldn’t change it.”
The Voice UK continues on Saturday nights with the live shows.
