The Voice 2014 ratings top Sunday night with final knockouts

The Voice

An average audience of just under 7 million viewers tuned in to last night's episode of The Voice UK.

It was the first - and only - episode of this year's series to air on a Sunday, featuring the final round of knockout performances.

The show topped the ratings across all changes with an average audience of 6.9 million viewers between 7:45PM and 9PM, up 200,000 viewers on Saturday's instalment.

More notably however the show was significantly up on last year's equivalent episode suggesting that the series has finally found a solid, regular audience.

Last night we saw Iesher Haughton, Jermain Jackman, Sophie May Williams, Chris Royal, Christina Marie, Emily Adams, Lee Glasson, Jamie Johnson, Rachael O’Connor, Bizzi Dixon, Georgia Harrup and Sally Barker all make it through to this year's live finals.

There will be three live shows in all starting with the quarter finals this weekend and concluding with the grand live final in the first week of April.
