Zoe Ball voice louder

The Voice UK's new spin-off series kicks off next week on BBC Two, it's been confirmed.

Zoe Ball hosts the new weekday companion show to the BBC One talent contest, featuring interviews with finalists, coaches and presenters.

In the first edition on Monday evening, 6:30PM, the contestants eliminated in Saturday's quarter-final chat to Zoe about their experiences, reveal their hopes for the future and give acoustic performances

And the next day, Zoe will be joined on the sofa by two of the semi-finalists and their mentor to talk about the series so far and what viewers can expect from them on Saturday night's show.

Plus there will of course be plenty of behind-the-scenes news and gossip.

Zoe, who also fronts Strictly's spin-off It Takes Two, said: "I'm super excited to be involved in The Voice UK, and I’m doing some star jumps and squats to limber up for action as I speak.

"Fans can think of me as the nosey naughty one who can ask questions we all want answering by their favourite acts and of course Kylie, Tom, will.i.am and Ricky.

"I shall bring everyone a little closer to the action and I promise not to sing!”

Watch The Voice UK Live Quarter Final on Saturday, March 22, 6.45pm, BBC One, and Results Show at 8.50pm
