The Voice UK 2014: Five performances to watch out for this weekend

Christina Marie (The Voice 2014)

The Voice UK battle rounds air tonight and tomorrow on BBC One and with 28 separate performances, it's a heck of a lot to watch.

With that in mind we've highlight five of what we reckon re the weekend's best performances that you should make sure you keep an eye out for.

Chris Royal

Chris' falsetto has been impressive throughout this year's show and it continues to wow tonight. Taking on a classic in the form of Over The Rainbow, Chris impresses all of the panel with his unique spin on the rather over-done track.

The Voice

Jamie Johnson

Jamie Johnson has proved a bit of a dark horse in the competition so far but really comes out from the shadows in tonight's (Saturday) show with a powerful version of Kings Of Leon's Sex On Fire.

Christina Marie

In tomorrow's (Sunday) show Christina Marie proves she's perhaps the strongest female vocalist left the competition with her huge voice taking on a Mariah Carey classic. Ricky is worried that it's a bit of a cliche song choice but he needn't be unsure.

The Voice

Jazz Bates-Chambers

With hair as fierce as her voice, Jazz Bates-Chambers growly tone works effortlessly on Beyonce's Work It Out in Sunday's show. Competing for a place in the final three on Team Ricky however will it be enough?

Iesher Haughton

19-year-old Iesher Haughton has proved a standout from the audition stages and shows just why once more on Sunday night. The Team Will singer lends her surprisingly powerful vocals to a Whitney Houston song and manages to do it justice.

The Voice UK knockouts begin tonight on BBC One from 7:15PM and continue on Sunday at 7:45PM.
